Intro 01:12
Welcome to the celebration Of the death of a nation Though it’s a commiseration For our lack of deviation from limitations Our obsession with succession Nepotism, patrician competition And ambition as the condition for the “perfect” future It's the initiation of a conversation for change A vision for modifications we’ll make to a nation That upholds the regulations of an ancient civilization That never lived to serve its population, But to serve those with wealth of possessions and without melanation The death of our foundation Is not a limitation on our expansion, our proliferation, or our rise To radically heal without accommodations We must rally a delegation And ignite the congregation of broken hearts To lead the resurrection Tonight, you and I will hold hands and breathe life into a world we’re killing And make it worth dying for Welcome to the Funeral Afterparty

Night People 02:35
If you’ve suffered you’ve got an invitation, Dump the whole wide world, give our club a chance. Don’t need to leave your town, come join us in your basement Sink and drink and think: apocalypse is over now we dance. (Get up!) Black blood running through your veins (Come on!) Break down, baby don’t abstain We’ll put you motherfuckers in a trance (Wig out!) Snakeskin lying on the floor (Turn up!) Rest in pieces, gonna leave you sore You’re rolling with the night people, so you better fucking dance Dare you to enter this gathering of terrors Spin and twist you can’t resist the urge to bleed Out on the dance floor, embracing your dysfunctions We wait beyond the graves and enter into immortality Listen to the whispers in the corners of your mind (Where night people at?) Darlin I can feel your bones poking out through your lies (Where MY people at?) Invitations marked in blood, are you abnormal too? Baby, we’re night people, it's what we do

Curses 03:49
I saw red and then I saw you Braced for impact, clawing at mildew Yearning, turning over tables in your mind Stopped at treetops gaining consciousness I thought despite everything, you still owed me this I am not as kind as I might seem, Hunting haunting melodies in your dreams And lure them into nightmares Rain drowned blood on a death star Round out rhythms run down street cars Bend over backwards darling, it suits you Bend over backwards darkling, it’ll sooth you The darkness so seductive, I forgot That in your madness , that’s where I stopped Rehearsing and cursing the tides Swelling and curling inside I proclaim you’re the only one who’s sane Most will die before they find the pleasures in the pains of life But you bound my days in agonies, and savored their decay May love and curses come your way Run run, rebel, if you still can I like to taste the sweat before I eat a man Your panic pairs so well with wine Reek of rage in early stages And get rattled by the saddled shame of My lustful hedonist sublime Then maybe you could be my valentine And I could be your nightmare Roses for your weary head Laced with thorns and dried in dread With your blood and ache I’ll adorn you Babe, It’s the way I adore you

B.A.T.S. 04:01
If you tried to kiss me, Bella you would just stumble into my jaws A trap laid for much bigger creatures than you, Bella And I can't prevent the damage I could do If you got to know me, if you got to look inside my brain There’s a siren sitting at the control panel Stringing melodies whisking me away Bella you got the eyes and the smile And just the kinda innocence the siren is a-hungering for baby She wants more of you and all the pretty things you do Through rose-tinted glasses you can't tell the difference between blood and oil If you let her take control of your affections she’ll lure you into agony Through rose tinted glasses you can’t see the nightmare growing in between us Baby don't ya know the real pressing question is whether you could handle it No Wicked are the ones who the innocent trust Who manipulate, sedate and take advantage of you Anesthesia drips from her wicked lips as she chokes me harder And since my baby broke my heart n’ shattered my world just a month ago My siren took control and had me falling for you, Bella You’re sweet but honey brings the beasts You were in the wrong place at the right time for the siren to Dig her claws into your shoulders, n’ if you weren’t here Bella She’d find your innocence in somebody else She deepens the wounds she claims to sew

Fireballs surround the gallows Misty eyes and misty shadows Strangers walk the night with silver swords Keeps these words of wisdom handy Hold your sorrows understanding The winter of our lives is evermore So hold me in the dark We only fear the monsters we can’t see The statues fall apart But nothing really hurts that bad when you’re with me Running ‘round in circles, stalling Lock the doors, the sun is falling There’s no chance of making it on your own Though our candlelight is fleeting Feel this fragile heart still beating They can take your life, don’t let them take your soul

Moon Song 02:14
I’ll tell you a story, please lend me your ear A secretive romance that’ll last through the years She creeps through my window, takes over my view Her eyes on my face are tender and cool She asks me, my darling, what do you dream? I tell her, I dream you are always with me She laughs as she looks with her revolving gaze She says, love, I’ll be with you for all of your days She knows how to make me feel bright and new But her wisdom and might make me feel fuller too I never thought I’d fall in love with the night Then she crept through my window and made me feel right We went to the beach and she waved at the sea I watched with such marvel as it waved back at me I wait 'til the day that her dark side appears But ‘til then, I know that she’ll be with me here

How you like your blue eyed boy, Mr. Death? When his legs are spread and he's out of breath After a long hard life of being handsome? He used to dance for you in spite of you How you like your brown eyed boy, Mr. Death? When he’s on bruised knees and he's crying sweat After a long hard life of being ransomed? He used to sing for you in spite of you Will you guide him to the gates of hell With soothing words, say all is well Then leave him on his own on a lonely yellow road? Will you guide him to a paradise Where the waters clear, the weathers nice Then watch upon the wall While the waves swallow him whole? Us sinners will take care of him While you slink on away We’ll treat him like a favorite son Though we know all the wrongs he’s done While you go find another one, We’ll love him anyway How you like your green eyed game, Mr. Death? When they’re wanting love that they’ll never get? They spent their whole lives chasing satisfaction You made them run from you to run to you How you like our blood and bones, Mr. death? Have our bodies met your measures yet? If we're damned to live under your shadows Joy is rebellion we'll find comfort in

Ambulance 05:39
Here I go, I’m at Beth Israel hospital And I feel the beating chests of everyone who’s breathing like me The woman with the lanyard asks a question, she says With skin this dull, do you see the sun at all? The truth is, I’ve spent so long hiding under my sheets, I shield myself with fantasy, I’m sheathed in sleep I can’t hear anyone, what are they telling me? They say you think too much Yeah someone’s always on your mind. I gotta roll the dice And hope that I can breathe tonight They say you only live once But I’ve lived a thousand times In different skin than mine And it’ll never fit just right Cavities, rotting teeth from secrets that I keep Then I smell the antiseptic all I think is It might as well be formaldehyde to me With each breath, asthmatic lungs of earth grow older Fluorescent lights breaking my skin as gravity pulls me deeper With weighted limbs, I turn my head and I see them I don’t know what warranted my wallow But I know my destiny’s decay I won’t give into the fear of falling I refuse to spend my time wasting away I believe I’ll live another day

I could fall in love with the wind if she kissed me right And it's so obvious to everyone But you crawled your way through my sins I felt the fervent fire of a thousand suns And I don't wanna live like that So why do I come on so strong? This storm is blowing out to sea So who am I to say it's wrong? And I'm thinking about all the games that we played All the pain we dealt, all the mess we made, oh no And I don't wanna live like that If we could fly away from the towns where we never met I'd never look back down again I could lie with you in the clouds And never make another friend In the marrow of my bones All the secrets that you told Burning brighter than the sun in my eyes so I Tear a tarot into shreds Name my destiny instead How I see it in my head Selling shadows on the side Falling stars land in the sky I don't wanna lose my mind But I can't let go Of the illusions that I see like the future that could be And I felt the wind in my hair The seasons change and so should I
